The Power of Forgiveness

with Madeleine Black

· Show Summary

Several people told me I had to have Madeleine Black on my show and I am so pleased I did. Madeleine shared her story of when she was gang raped at 13 years old, the spiral and her journey to forgiveness.

  • A few drinks with a friend
  • Maybe men are not born rapists?
  • Have you ever met an evil baby?
  • Accidental forgiveness
  • Never too late to heal

Madeleine Black’s sharing of her story, of when she was gang raped at 13, on The Forgiveness Project’s website in September of 2014, opened many doors for Madeleine in ways she never imagined. The invitations started to pour in for her to further share her story and her book. You can read more about Madeleine on her website or by purchasing her book “Unbroken: One Woman’s Journey to Rebuild a Life Shattered by Violence. A True Story of Survival and Hope.

This week’s challenge is to look for a place in your life where you can offer forgiveness. Remember forgiveness is the gift you give yourself as it frees you from being someone’s victim.
