Catcalling Means Nothing… Unless You Let It
I had a friend tell me how bad cat calling is and needs to stop. I had an issue with this. Not because I like catcalling but because it requires changing someone else’s behaviour to feel better and that is never a good thing.
Whenever we want to change someone else’s behaviour we are giving away our power. We are dependant on their willingness to change and are at the mercy of their choices and view of the world. Besides, what right do we have to tell others how to act?
When we are intact, when we understand our own internal worth, the way others behave is irrelevant.
So, focus on your worth more and their behaviour less.
